SCHS Hall of Honor

The Museum is housed in the historic Carnegie library building, on the register of National Historic Sites. The Hall of Honor is being developed in collaboration with the 100th Anniversary of the West Central Research and Outreach Center in the year 2010. The Stevens County Historical Society will also be constructing and building an Exhibit for that year on the History of Agriculture in Stevens County.

It is fitting that it be named after men and women who have contributed and continue to contribute in some manner to what we collectively value as Stevens County history. It may be someone who …

– Gained world wide fame or recognition
– Influenced youth through education & example.
– Contributes through their talents and skills
– Quietly & humbly raises their family & practices good citizenship
– Provides goods and services.

With a $5,000 donation, which can come from an individual, a group of people, or an organization, the heritage of the person of your choosing, past or present will become a part of our Men and Women of the Land Hall of Honor. Please give thoughtful consideration to donating and nominating someone to the Hall of Honor.

Together we will preserve their history.
